There are many building blocks to creating a sustainable community: good health, prospects of a decent income, a quality local environment. Joining those issues together between a myriad of different agencies in any one area takes energy and commitment: we need truly effective partnerships to build alliances for sustainable development that’s meaningful to the neighbourhoods we work with.

Groundwork is built on partnership. Our board represents a partnership between local authorities, the voluntary sector and business, and we aim to deliver all of our projects in effective partnerships with other organisations and local communities.

For Groundwork, partnership is about working together to maximise the impact we are having in local communities. We have over twenty years’ experience of developing and delivering partnership projects for the benefit of local people, the local environment and the local economy.

We are always ready to explore forming new partnerships for the benefit of the communities in which we work. Increasingly we are working in partnership with housing associations and PCTs.
